Maintaining the Right Attitude in the Last Minute: The Essence of Life

Maintaining the Right Attitude in the Last Minute: The Essence of Life PDF Author: Bantar Shey

Book Description
Man has a sophisticated manner of examination. His mind draws him to a place of comfort and at the same may draw him to the place of agony. This book helps bring about man's attitude in relation to his environment, people and also, God Almighty. Most of these outward expressions are actually what is nursed within. Attitude is everything. It affects character in ways we can't really imagine. Following man's behavioural pattern, the elements which give him attitudes, is practically everything. What we consider as attitude, is what the Divine considers as "nature." Every attitude you see in this book has to do with nature, that is who we are an in most cases, who we become in the end. Love being the alpha attitude is what we need as a consciousness of our nature to live in accordance with Abba (FATHER). Unforgiveness can cause a cancer in a family, in a union, among brethren in Christ and anywhere in the world. A lot of people claim to be hurt and deliberately decide not to forgive brethren or comrade and they live like that for years with themselves. When they see those who offended them they become furious and sometimes transfer aggression. But we forget we have a Heavenly Father who lives in us and knows all things. We hardly see that we have offended God but worry about those who has offended us. God forgives both you and your offender but u got to let go. We need to be conscious of our attitude of forgiveness to save homes and make the world a better place.Love is that attitude that always brings peace and makes a people stronger than what they were. We have forgotten that God is Love and he who knows not love knows not God. This attitude breaks the ice for all to live in harmony. It births a new you.- Can we leave in this Earth realm without being thought and without us studying?- Can love actually birth peace in a man's character and Leave in peace with God?- Will an unforgiving heart bring genuine unity? Our attitudes define who we are. With man we ought to be Righteous in attitude but with God Almighty our attitudes ought to reflect Godliness.

The Expression of Attitude

The Expression of Attitude PDF Author: J. Richard Eiser
Publisher: Springer Science & Business Media
ISBN: 1461247942
Category : Psychology
Languages : en
Pages : 91

Book Description
The Expression of Attitude deals with a number of broad but interrelated questions: what are attitudes, how do they relate to behavior, how are they acquired, and in what ways can they be shared? The author argues that consistency, within attitude structure and between attitudes and behavior, arises primarily from interpersonal rather than intrapersonal processes. Emphasis is placed on how people interpret behavior as an expression of attitude, and what they demand of such behavior before they treat it as decodable in a particular way.

The Essence of Tibetan Buddhism

The Essence of Tibetan Buddhism PDF Author: Lama Thubten Yeshe
Publisher: Lama Yeshe Wisdom Archive
ISBN: 1891868306
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 84

Book Description
The first teaching, "The Three Principal Aspects of the Path," was given in France in 1982. The second teaching, an "Introduction to Tantra," also in two parts, was given at Grizzly Lodge, California, in 1980. It comprises the first two lectures of a commentary on the Chenrezig yoga. "Meditation is not on the level of the object but on that of the subject - you are the business of your meditation. "Bodhicitta is very practical, I tell you. It’s like medicine. The self-cherishing thought is like a nail or a sword in your heart; it always feels uncomfortable. With bodhicitta, from the moment you begin to open, you feel incredibly peaceful and you get tremendous pleasure and inexhaustible energy. Forget about enlightenment - as soon as you begin to open yourself to others, you gain tremendous pleasure and satisfaction. Working for others is very interesting; it’s an infinite activity. Your life becomes continuously rich and interesting. "Historically, Shakyamuni Buddha taught the four noble truths. To whose culture do the four noble truths belong? The essence of religion has nothing to do with any one particular country's culture. Compassion, love, reality - to whose culture do they belong? The people of any country, any nation, can implement the three principal aspects of the path, the four noble truths or the eightfold path. There's no contradiction at all." This book is made possible by kind supporters of the Archive who, like you, appreciate how we make these teachings available in so many ways, including in our website for instant reading, listening or downloading, and as printed and electronic books. The Essence of Tsongkhapa's Teachings

The Essence of Tsongkhapa's Teachings PDF Author: Jeremy Russell
Publisher: Simon and Schuster
ISBN: 1614295697
Category : Philosophy
Languages : en
Pages : 112

Book Description
Learn from the Dalai Lama how to put into practice your understanding of renunciation, the awakening mind, and emptiness. His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s commentary on Tsongkhapa’s Three Principal Aspects of the Path helps us integrate the full Buddhist path into our own practice. His Holiness offers a beautiful elucidation of the three aspects of the path: true renunciation and the wish for freedom, the altruistic awakening mind (bodhichitta), and the correct view of emptiness. These three aspects of the path are the foundation of all the sutric and tantric practices, and encapsulate Tsongkhapa’s vision of the Buddhist path in its entirety. Practitioners will find The Three Principal Aspects of the Path invaluable as a manual for daily meditation. The universal and timeless insights of this text speak to contemporary spiritual aspirants, East and West. The root verses are presented in both Tibetan and fluid English translation to accompany these profound teachings.
