The electrolytic and an nealed anodes were gassing freely, while the cathodes were evolving gas but feebly at twice that current strength. At the cast anode a few bubbles were occasionally seen. The electro lytic and annealed anodes were bright, and the cast anode was black around the pitted portions, although otherwise bright.
