This sketch is not intended as an expression of opinion on the merits or demerits of any person connected wit-h this engagement; it is sim ply a compilation of facts, arranged and put together, so that any who may be interested in this event, can secure such information as I have been able to gather, without going to the trouble of consulting numer ous authorities, most of which are beyond the reach of the ordinary reader.
