The Swedish Vallhund, sometimes referred to as the "Swedish Vallhund dog," is a small, lively breed of dog that originated from Sweden. The original purpose of these Swedish dogs was to herd cattle, hence their moniker "herding dog" (or "Vallhund"). Their striking appearance and perceptive personalities have earned them widespread renown. Some distinguishing features of the Swedish Vallhund are: 1. The average Swedish Vallhund weighs 9-16 kilograms (20-35 pounds) and measures 11-33 cm (28-28 inches) at the shoulder. 2. They look like wolves; they have a curled tail, upright ears, and a triangular, wedge-shaped head. Their coat is normally short and dense, with a variety of colors and markings, including sable, gray, and red. 3. Characteristics of the Swedish Vallhund temperament include cleverness, vivacity, and devotion. They are friendly and get along well with other members of the family and even other animals. They have the ability to be loud and serve as a reliable watchdog because of it. 4. These canines have a high level of activity, making exercise a need for their well-being. They like to go around and have fun in the fresh air. 5. Because of their herding heritage, Swedish Vallhunds may have an innate drive to herd, or herd in, anything that moves, including small children and other animals. 6.
