Book Description
We present measurements of the linear polarization amplitudes and the strong relative phases that describe the flavor-untagged decays B{sub d} → J/[Psi] K* and B{sub s} → J/[Psi][phi] in the transversity basis. We also measure the mean lifetime of the B{sub s} mass eigenstates and the lifetime ratio. The analyses are based on approximately 2.8 fb−1 of data recorded with the D0 detector. From our measurements of the angular parameters we conclude that there is no evidence for a deviation from flavor SU(3) symmetry for these decays and that the factorization assumption is not valid for the B{sub d} → J/[Psi] K* decay.

Book Description
The authors report the study of the B meson decays B{sup ±} 2!J/[psi][phi]K{sup ±}, B° 2!J/[psi][phi]K° using 433 million of B{bar B} events collected at the [Upsilon](4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II ee− asymmetric-energy collider. They obtain the branching fraction measurements: [Beta](B{sup ±} 2!J[psi][phi]K{sup ±}) = (5.6 {+-} 0.9(stat) {+-} 0.3(sys)) x 10−5, [Beta](B{sup {+-}} 2!J[psi][phi]K°) = (5.4 {+-} 1.2(stat) {+-} 0.4(sys)) x 10−5.

Book Description
The authors study the decay B− → J/?K−??− using 117 million B{bar B} events collected at the?(4S) resonance with the BaBar detector at the PEP-II e+e− asymmetric-energy storage ring. They measure the branching fractions?(B− → J/?K−?+?−) = (116 ± 7(stat.) ± 9(syst.)) x 10−5 and?(B− → X(3872)K−) x?(X(3872) → J/??+?−) = (1.28 ± 0.41) x 10−5 and find the mass of the X(3872) to be 3873.4 ± 1.4MeV/c2. They search for the h{sub c} narrow state in the decay B− → h{sub c} K−, h{sub c} → J/??+?− and for the decay B− → J/?D°?−, with D° → K−?+. They set the 90% C.L. limits?(B− → h{sub c}K−) x?(h{sub c} → J/??+?−)

Book Description
In this study, the decays B+c → J/[psi]D+s and B+c → J/[psi] D*+s are studied with the ATLAS detector at the LHC using a dataset corresponding to integrated luminosities of 4.9 and 20.6 fb-1 of pp collisions collected at centre-of-mass energies √s=7 TeV and 8 TeV, respectively. Signal candidates are identified through J/[psi] → [mu]+[mu]- and D(*)+s → [Phi][pi]+([gamma]/[pi]0) decays. With a two-dimensional likelihood fit involving the B+c reconstructed invariant mass and an angle between the [mu]+ and D+s candidate momenta in the muon pair rest frame, the yields of B+c → J/[psi]D+s and B+c → J/[psi] D*+s, and the transverse polarisation fraction in B+c → J/[psi] D*+s decay are measured.

Pages : 8

Book Description
We present a study of the decays B{sup 0,+} --> J/???−?°K{sup 0,+}, using 467x106 B{anti B} pairs recorded with the BABAR detector. We present evidence for the decay mode X(3872) --> J/??, with product branching fractions B(B+ --> X(3872)K+) x B(X(3872) --> J/??) = [0.6 ± 0.2(stat) ± 0.1(syst)] x 10−5, and B(B° --> X(3872)K°) x B(X(3872) --> J/??) = [0.6 ± 0.3(stat) ± 0.1(syst)] x 10−5. A detailed study of the?+?−?° mass distribution from X(3872) decay favors a negative-parity assignment.
