It is a commonly held belief that athletes, particularly body builders, have greater requirements for dietary protein than sedentary individuals. However, the evidence in support of this contention is controversial. The brain is the most complex organ in our body. Indeed, it is perhaps the most complex structure we have ever encountered in nature.
