Today the clinical practice of psychoanalysis and all things connected to it are flourishing there and the general ideology of contemporary Italy has been shaped and affected by the message Freud had to offer. Edoardo Weiss (1889-1970) was a favored disciple of Freud and is acknowledged as the founder of psychoanalysis in Italy. A great many theorists have argued that the defining feature of modernity is that people no longer believe in spirits, myths, or magic. Jason Ā.
