People residing in rural and urban area; view differently for the same service that has been provided by the insurance company. This difference of thinking or attitude is due to their income level, standard of living, education, knowledge about industry etc. People irrespective of living in any area can have any type of insurance products or service, but generally rural people look towards insurance as investment and urban as protection or safeguard against loss to life or property. A survey through a structured questionnaire was used to investigate consumer behavior, views of social media advertising. and a comparative analysis of four private insurers in India. The Insurers were Pramerica Life Insurance, Max Life Insurance, HDFC Life Insurance, and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance to see how they use digital advertisements, particularly social media, to attract target audiences and increase conversion rates. The study attempted to analyze social media advertising in the Life insurance market and tried to inquire why the insurance business lags in exploiting social media advertising and what steps may be made to boost their visibility. According to the survey results, people have a positive mindset toward credible commercials. As a result, firms should strive to include these characteristics in their marketing. Appropriate targeting should be done depending on the age and occupation of consumers to reach out to the audience on social media. Advertisements can be personalized to increase response and conversion rates. Businesses should work to increase engagement on their social media profiles.

Book Description
Doctoral Thesis / Dissertation from the year 2016 in the subject Business economics - Banking, Stock Exchanges, Insurance, Accounting, grade: A, course: Ph. D, language: English, abstract: Human life is full of uncertainties and numerous pitfalls, wise people remain adequately alert and cautious about this fact of life. Even though nobody can avoid probable risks and uncertainties, but he can be well-prepared to face it. To avoid the danger is not within our reach but making us strong enough to counter the strokes is possible. The person with future awareness opts to buy the life insurance armour for becoming able enough to face any eventuality. Up till now many lives have been made free of anxieties through life insurance. The Hindu philosophy gives the axiomatic truth of the nature of insurance "Yat bhavati tat nashyati" which means whatever is created, certainly destroyed. The universe as a whole is created, as a matter created, it is but natural that it is subject to destruction. Creation is inevitably followed by destruction; risks therefore are inevitable in life. Creation, preservation and dissolution is the unending cycle of the universe, everybody is expected to accept and digest it. Ours is an era of uncertainty and life is surprising. It is the confederation of tensions and anxieties regarding the future uncertainties. Wherever may be an uncertainty, it is risky. Normally any risk is difficult to avoid, though not impossible.
