In addition, an observer-panel evaluation was conducted to identify baselines that would be suitable for treatment evaluations. A group-size analysis was conducted by aggregating data from the original sample. Results demonstrate the usefulness of evaluating several measurable dimensions of running away, and highlight the benefits of including duration-based measures and correcting for opportunity. However, results suggest that treatment evaluations may only be possible via an analysis of groups of runners rather than individual subjects.
