The American Revised Version does not even allude to the existence of the Apocrypha. Compared with this difference between the two versions all other differences are insignificant. Whatever may be the merits or the defects of expression in either, and however important may be the correction of textual errors by devout and enlightened scholarship, both versions contain the same and the complete message of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
