This is an incredible collection of poetry by James W. Whilt, a cowboy poet popularly known as "The Poet of the Rockies." He spent a major part of his life in the Rocky Mountains as a timber cruiser, packer, trapper, and guide, making his descriptions vivid and enjoyable. In addition, he did an excellent job putting his thoughts into literary form throughout. These verses take the readers on a beautiful journey into the captivating world of poetry. It comprises several poems, including Adventurer's Luck, My Garden, Springtime, and many more.
