The supply of water is good and ample for all present requirements. Vrsrrs AND Ixsrr: rrrroNs.--Tlc Main Station and Outstntions have been frequently visited during the year by the Inspector of Prisons and his Deputy, and also by the Colonial Secretary, Under Colonial Secretary, Chief Clerk, and others. Enucxriox or Orricans' Cmr, nm=..'.--I am glad to be able to report that a sum of 350 has been provided on the current year's estimates for the erection of a school for ofiicers' children, plans are now being prepared by the Public Works Department, and I hope at an early date to start work on the building, which is to be erected departmentally. The school-building will also be utilised on Sundays for Church purposes, it being placed on alternate Sundays at the disposal of the English and Dutch Reformed Church Ministers. Church services for otficers and their families have been conducted regularly...
