It examines how the new system has developed since the coming into force of the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 (PIDA), and provides up-to-date practical guidance on the key issues that arise in practice. Good health can be considered one of the most fundamental resources for social and economic prosperity. While the goal to improve average levels of population health is important, there has been an increasing focus on disparities at national and European levels.
