Les résultats qui en découlent montrent d'abord que les banques de la CEMAC ont connu une progression de leur efficience technique, même si des inefficiences subsistent surtout en ce qui concerne l'efficience allocative. Il est en effet constaté que la réglementation n'affecte pas de façon homogène l'efficacité du système bancaire de la CEMAC. Ainsi, il est recommandé aux autorités d'améliorer la prise en compte des spécificités et des caractéristiques du système bancaire de la zone CEMAC, à travers l'implémentation de la réglementation bancaire, afin de renforcer la stabilité financière des banques ainsi que leur résilience.
