But it takes no account of conditions even in that tight little island today. And it does not so much as hint at the paradox involved above which is that devotion to the Liberal Arts automatically makes a conservative. George Rodgers was a man of the strictest integrity, and his word was as good as his bond. He was possessed with a most pleasing personality, and had many friends who delighted in his witty sayings, which sayings they often quoted. These friends find it difficult to realize that he is gone, and sorely miss his genial presence. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
