La grande majorité, soit neuf subventions d'une valeur de 64,2 millions d'EUR, ont bénéficié à des projets relevant du secteur de l'énergie et une subvention de 9,4 millions d'EUR concernait un projet de transport. Plus de la moitié des approbations en valeur de 2017 (soit 43,6 millions d'EUR) appuient la phase d'investissement des projets. Ces subventions devraient permettre de mobiliser 940,3 millions d'EUR d'investissements, soit 21,6 fois leur montant.

Over the 20th century, Morocco has become one of the world’s major emigration countries.
