Ime is a pioneer BS graduate of Biochemistry (1983) from the University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria. During the undergraduate program, the author’s interests in literary reading and writing were kindled through the mentorship of Prof. (Mrs.) Floyd, then the coordinator of the Use of English program. Notably, Mary Slessor, the Scottish Missionary, who served and stopped the killing of twins in the regions and times of the author’s grandparents, provided the earnest motivation to embark on missionary and humanitarian endeavors. In 1996, the author immigrated to Atlanta, GA, United States, to incorporate Holy Ghost Outreach Ministries, Inc.; a non-profit organization focused on missionary pursuits, youth mentoring, and leadership training. From the United States the mission’s outreaches has now expanded to Europe and Africa. In 2009, the author completed a MS in Psychology (University of Phoenix, AZ, US); and since Nov, 2009 is currently a Doctoral Student of Management in Organizational Leadership (DM program) in the same university. Ime is uniquely privileged to continue to develop his endowed talents, abilities, and gifts to empowering the functional skills as a; teacher, mentor, author, poet, minister, missionary, administrator, and as leadership developer and management consultant. Ime will continue to be a thinker, an adventurer, a lifelong learner, and devoted helper of others. He also loves sports, music, current affairs, documentary films, and traveling. The Rainbow Sky
Author: Tony Buick
Publisher: Springer Science & Business Media
ISBN: 1441910530
Category : Science
Languages : en
Pages : 366
Book Description
W here do you start to write about colors in the universe? Do you look to the deepest ocean trenches on Earth, with their awesome bioluminescent creatures roaming the blackness of the abyss? And where do you finish? With the most distant galaxies in the cosmos? A difficult question, p- haps, but in between the two extremes, there is so much to marvel at that it really doesn’t matter where you start or end, as long as you note the staggeringly beautiful and complex examples of color there are and that each should, if possible, be represented in some way. Whether staring up at the sky when surprised by the sudden appearance of a vividly colored band of light that is a rainbow or peering through a telescope to view colors further afield, the origin and complexity of the source of light is witness to the wonderful and majestic world and the universe in which we live. A n attempt has been made here not only to create a picture gallery of the universe, but also to provide brief explanations or interpretation of the colors and, where appropriate, to give hints on how to capture p- tures easily yourself, without spending lots of money. As illustrated in the introduction, paying attention to just a few basic camera settings, it is possible to turn a blurred snapshot into a detailed and pin sharp picture worthy of framing and hanging on the wall.

ISBN: 0645881406
Category : Religion
Languages : en
Pages : 95
Book Description
This book explores the rich spiritual and cultural traditions of the First Nations, particularly the Gubbi-Gubbi and Jinibara peoples, through narratives gathered from respected Elders and integrated with modern research. By focusing on the First Passage Time, which is a critical measure of community growth and spiritual advancement, we can shed light on the contributions made by Indigenous Australia to the progress of the world civilization. The work emphasizes the significance of collective learning and the interdependence of spiritual systems that contribute to the well-being and growth of the First Nations community. The spiritual importance placed on the Rainbow Serpents and the Sky Bora Time canopies is deeply ingrained in these systems. The text focuses on documenting the resilience and developmental milestones of these tribes residing in the Sunshine Coast, Noosa, Caboolture, and Moreton Bay areas. By doing so, it seeks to offer valuable insights that can help foster a culture of shared learning and deepen our understanding of the principles that underlie the continuous progress of civilization.
