Book Description
Most people would like to be healthier and livelier, happier and more resilient – which is why these days there are so many promised panaceas, from vegan diets to Yoga. As a naturopathically oriented general practitioner, I have noticed in my examination of patients that quite a few people have energy blocks, which is why it is impossible to make any real progress with the above-mentioned methods. In addition, these energy blocks act subliminally as sources of illness. This book describes practical ways to detect and eliminate these blocks with the aid of a new healing method: Psychosomatic Energetics. The method also helps one get to know oneself and others better.

What distinguishes the ZU method from other interpretations of Foot Reflexology is the indepth, analytical study of the identification of reflex points on the foot, otherwise known as I.S.R.A., or Identification of Sensitive Reflex Areas. All the points described have been localized in relation to the bones and by aiming at the epicentre of the pain in each sensitive area. A foot can be long, wide, short, large or thin; pathologically, it can be flat, hollow, equine, varus, valgus or twisted. This type of reading objectifies the reflex points.

Continental Feminism Reader

Continental Feminism Reader PDF Author: Ann J. Cahill
Publisher: Rowman & Littlefield Publishers
ISBN: 0585466726
Category : Literary Collections
Languages : en
Pages : 338

Book Description
In an era of backlash and supposed stagnation, feminist philosophers are still providing fresh and challenging perspectives—you just have to know where to look. Continental feminist theory continues to address pressing questions of equality and difference, identity and subjectivity. Modern thinkers like Judith Butler, Kelly Oliver, and Drucilla Cornell give strikingly new perspectives on sex, gender, sexual politics, and the various social reasons for gender inequality. Yet their theories are not always well received. Continental Feminism Reader responds to the marginalization of these thinkers and others like them. In this volume, Ann J. Cahill and Jennifer Hansen collect the most groundbreaking recent work in Continental Feminist Theory, introducing and explaining pieces that are often mystifying to those outside the field and outside academia. With these essays, Continental Feminism Reader begins the process of reanimating feminist politics through the critical tools of its contributors.
