Observables from vector meson photoproduction by linearly-polarized photons can be expressed in term of bilinear combinations of helicity amplitudes parameterized by the Spin Density Matrix Elements (SDMEs). These SDMEs give straightforward relations for understanding the nature of the parity exchange at threshold energies, as well as for extracting signatures of the Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka violation. Measurement of SDMEs for p p in the photon energy range of 1.7 to 1.9 GeV(momentum transfer squared t range of 1.2 to 0.25 GeV2 ) and 1.9 to 2.1 GeV (t range of 1.4 to 0.25 GeV2 ) from the g8b experimental data collected in the summer of 2005 in the Hall B of Jefferson Lab are reported herein.

The experimental results of a deuterium bubble chamber photoproduction study of half a million pictures at 5.5 GeV are presented. This experiment has been performed using a monoenergetic and linearly polarized photon beam facility at SLAC. At 5.5 GeV the beam polarization is greater than 90%, and the average FWHM of the beam energy spectrum is 0.6 GeV. The reaction ..gamma..d ..-->.. ..pi ... pi..−d has been studied in detail. A clear sample of ..gamma..d ..-->.. rho°d channel was obtained and from the rho° decay distribution in terms of an extended density matrix which includes correlation with the beam polarization, nine independent density matrix parameters were determined. The study of rho° production and decay in the reaction channel ..gamma..d ..-->.. rho°d was found to proceed almost completely through natural parity exchanges; the contribution from unnatural parity exchanges being only (5.3 +- 4.5)% for momentum transfer absolute value t less than or equal to 0.25 GeV2. For the rho° mass and width, the values (766 +- 5) and (139 +- 11) MeV, respectively were obtained. The rho° production cross section in this channel has been determined to be (9.1 +- 0.8) ..mu..b.
