Originally published in 1983, the aim of this book was to discuss some fundamental problems of cognitive developmental psychology at the time. In Development of Perception in Infancy: The Cradle of Knowledge Revisited, Martha E. Arterberry and Philip J. The essential nature of learning is primarily thought of as a verbal process or function, but this notion conveys that pre-linguistic infants do not learn.
