Asimismo, se presenta de forma detallada el modelo de Activación del Desarrollo Vocacional y Personal (ADVP) de Pelletier, de amplia difusión en países francófonos y en el que se plantea una metodología práctica y útil de intervención para diseñar y desarrollar programas educativos de orientación profesional que se pueden integrar en el currículum escolar o bien se pueden llevar a cabo de forma paralela o en instituciones de educación no formal. La obra se completa con el análisis de programas y experiencias de orientación para la transición, los cuales quedan recogidos en un amplio anexo de gran utilidad práctica para los profesionales de la orientación.
