Here we are going to have a look at the historical development. It is going to be described in detail how the deregulation and liberalization in Europe happened, and what changes have been put in place. The liberalization packages are going to be described in detail, and the outcomes of the liberalisation and deregulation are going to be stated. In chapter THREE, the LCC’s are going to be introduced. Here we are going to have a quick introduction on what ‘NO-Frill’ means in the context of air travel. Further the development of LCC’s in Europe is going to be shown. After that there is going to be a focus on the development of LCC’s in Germany. Here the airlines which operate in Germany are going to be stated, and how they have developed over the years. Chapter FOUR is going to focus on the marketing strategy of LCC’s in Europe, and how they operate. This chapter focuses on how they operate, how they choose their network and fleet. Also important is to find out what their target market is, and how they manage their sales and pricing strategy. This chapter gives a detailed explanation on how such airlines function. After having had a look at the LCC’s strategy, Chapter FIVE focuses on the effects such airlines have on secondary airports. Also this chapter describes what regional effects such an airport has on its surrounding. In Chapter SIX the Airport Frankfurt Hahn stands in the centre of discussion. This chapter describes the several development stages of Frankfurt Hahn in terms of terminal or runway extension, and passenger development. Also this chapter analyses the catchment area of Frankfurt Hahn, and its infrastructure. After having introduced the Airport Frankfurt Hahn in detail, Chapter SEVEN focuses on the regional effects of the airport. Here the development of the industry based at Frankfurt Hahn is going to be in the centre of discussion, and how they impact the development of employment. Also the region around the airport is going to be introduced, and how they are favoured positively by the airport. Finally in the chapter the impact on the tourism industry of the area is going to be discussed. Chapter EIGHT will show the results of Chapter SEVEN in numbers. Chapter NINE will combine all the findings, and will show the conclusions of the paper.

Publisher: IOS Press
ISBN: 160750460X
Category : Computers
Languages : en
Pages : 640
Book Description
Software is an essential enabler for science and the new economy, but software often falls short of our expectations, remaining expensive and not yet sufficiently reliable for a constantly changing and evolving market. This publication, which forms part of the SoMeT series, consists of 41 papers, carefully reviewed and revised on the basis of technical soundness, relevance, originality, significance, and clarity. These explore new trends and theories which illuminate the direction of developments which may lead to a transformation of the role of software in tomorrow’s global information society. The book offers an opportunity for the software science community to think about where they are today and where they are going. The emphasis has been placed on human-centric software methodologies, end-user development techniques, and emotional reasoning, for an optimally harmonised performance between the design tool and the user. The handling of cognitive issues in software development and the tools and techniques related to this form part of the contribution to this book. Other comparable theories and practices in software science, including emerging technologies essential for a comprehensive overview of information systems and research projects, are also addressed. This work represents another milestone in mastering the new challenges of software and its promising technology, and provides the reader with new insights, inspiration and concrete material to further the study of this new technology.

How We Fall
Author: Melissa Toppen
Publisher: Createspace Independent Publishing Platform
ISBN: 9781544649856
Category :
Languages : en
Pages : 326
Book Description
It's not always about how we fall- it's about where we end up once we land. I remember the very first time I laid eyes on Cole Lincoln. It still feels like yesterday when he stumbled into my life with his messy brown hair and dark eyes. Even though I was only ten years old at the time, I knew right then and there that he was going to change everything. From that point on Cole and I were always together-inseparable-and I naively believed we'd be best friends forever. But forever didn't last nearly as long as I expected. We grew up and grew apart, life driving the distance between us, but my love for Cole never faltered. Even long after he moved away, leaving me and our little town behind, I still carried a piece of him with me every single day. Because Cole wasn't just my childhood best friend- the boy who knew me better than anyone else in the whole world. He was also my first love- a part of my very core. When a tragic death brings us face to face again after six years, every single memory comes rushing to the surface. Only this is not the boy I fell in love with all those years ago. The man before me is hardened, intimidating, and so damn sexy I practically melt when those dark eyes meet mine for the first time in six years. And like the first time he walked into my life, I know with complete certainty that everything is about to change. How We Fall is a STANDALONE Romance Novel.

The Broke Diaries
Author: Angela Nissel
Publisher: Villard
ISBN: 0375506705
Category : Biography & Autobiography
Languages : en
Pages : 310
Book Description
“People always say I’m going to look back on these days and laugh — why put it off?” When Angela Nissel found herself struggling financially while in college, instead of sulking, she decided to entertain herself by creating an online journal that chronicled her day-to-day trials and tribulations. Written with humor and intelligence, her “Broke Diary” quickly found an audience as people wrote to Angela to empathize with, console, and laugh with her about her experiences and even share their own. The Broke Diaries is the first complete compilation of her experiences, written in a voice that is funny, unique, and dead-on. On buying ramen noodles: I am sooooooo embarassed. I only have 33 cents. I (please don’t laugh) put the money on the counter and quickly attempt to dash out with my Chicken Flavored Salt Noodles. The guy calls me back! I look up instinctively, I should have run . . . Why didn’t I run???!! He tells me the noodles are 35 cents. I try to apologize sincerely. I thought the sign said 33 cents yesterday, so that’s all I brought with me. Could he wait while I ran home and get the 2 cents? I show him my student I.D. to let him know I am not a thief. He shakes his head and motions either for me to get the hell out of his store and never come back again or get the money as do come back. I don’t know. He said something like “Nyeh” and swiped his hand in my direction. I can’t translate hand motions well. The noodles: tasty!!!
