As philosopher, historian, and teacher, John Herman Randall, Jr. is world-renowned and universally respected. Many contemporary Anglo-American philosophers describe themselves as naturalists. But what do they mean by that term? Most contemporary philosophers would call themselves naturalists, yet there is little consensus on what naturalism entails.
