The Nakhti Philosophy

The Nakhti Philosophy PDF Author: Kali Jns

Pages : 90

Book Description
The Nakhti philosophy details how to let one's consciousness choose the mind's vitu (content) versus letting vitu program one's state of consciousness. Nakhti exists to assist humans in dealing with the impermanence and duality of life. Vitu is content that is generated from the five senses while living on planet earth. The first step in Nakhti philosophy is the process of Self-assessment via filling out the Chati of Self graph to get a snapshot of the vitu driving your current state of consciousness. There are four chambers in the Chati of self: The Files, ROM, Hard Drive, and Motherboard. Vitu in your life should be listed in each chamber according to type (auspicious and inauspicious) and the chamber you felt it impacted the most. Definitions of these chambers, instructions, and examples are detailed in the book. The Nakhti philosophy will also detail the main causes of dissatisfaction in the human experience which are non-acknowledgment of the nature of vitu: impermanence and duality, and identification with vitu. Both of which cause fleeting perceptions of happiness and distress. Nakhti details two methods that help one acknowledge the nature of vitu and become less identified with vitu. These two methods are transmutation of vitu and equanimity via Giza Mama Meditation. Lastly, this philosophy will teach you how to manifest your desires consciously and quickly.

Book Description
This gratitude journal was created to help foster self-esteem, mental strength, and peace in Black Americans (Freedman, FBA, Copper Colored Indigenous of North America, & ADOS). It contains gratitude prompts in English and the Tut language. The Tut language was created by our ancestors in the 18th century in the southern states of America to communicate at a time when literacy was illegal for Black Americans. Tut is included to honor the ancestors, resilience, and ingenuity that exist within us today. This journal also contains powerful quotes from Black Americans who have transitioned or are still alive, promoting encouragement, goal achievement, success, and self-determination. Each journal page includes space to record expressions of gratitude, daily reflections, memories of positive interactions, and more. As we express gratitude in the language our ancestors created under oppression, we become the great alchemists just like them. Black Americans have resilience built into their epigenetics after being crystallized under a crucible for 500 years. We have influenced the globe ten times over with our creations in music, inventions, science, culture, food, dance, worship, and language. We are a unique group with so much to be grateful for. This book is dedicated to that legacy. Let us always be grateful and remember our ancestors, so the current of greatness stays open and ever increases. Practicing gratitude has been scientifically linked to improved self-esteem and mental strength. Research has shown gratitude not only reduces stress, but it may also play a significant role in overcoming trauma. A 2006 study published in Behavior Research and Therapy found that Vietnam War veterans with higher levels of gratitude experienced lower rates of post-traumatic stress disorder. Other studies have shown that gratitude reduces social comparisons. Rather than becoming resentful toward people who have more --a major factor in reduced self-esteem--grateful people can appreciate other people's accomplishments as well as their own. This gratitude journal is designed to Improve emotional regulation. Increase positive mood. Foster hope for the future. Reduce stress and burnout Increase resilience.

Book Description
What is now currently the 'holy seat of the Vatican' in Italy, was originally the sacerdotal seat of these ancient black Sibyl Queen Mothers. Centuries before for Christ, they were known to heal the sick, restore dignity and strength to the weak, and restore sight to the blind. They were famous for curing lameness, epileptics, deaf mutes and lepers. They were said to 'cast out demons' and even to 'raise-up the dead' Their prophecies are the oldest and most authentic in the world. They were the basis for Greek and Roman tragedies and plays. More astonishing, their prophetic books were later collected by the Roman authorities, who needed a 'western theological' foundation in order to compete with the powerful levitical Jews. These Sibyl prophecies soon became the sole and undisputed precursor to the western, Christian Bible. .

Daughters of the Trade

Daughters of the Trade PDF Author: Pernille Ipsen
Publisher: University of Pennsylvania Press
ISBN: 0812291972
Category : History
Languages : en
Pages : 291

Book Description
Severine Brock's first language was Ga, yet it was not surprising when, in 1842, she married Edward Carstensen. He was the last governor of Christiansborg, the fort that, in the eighteenth century, had been the center of Danish slave trading in West Africa. She was the descendant of Ga-speaking women who had married Danish merchants and traders. Their marriage would have been familiar to Gold Coast traders going back nearly 150 years. In Daughters of the Trade, Pernille Ipsen follows five generations of marriages between African women and Danish men, revealing how interracial marriage created a Euro-African hybrid culture specifically adapted to the Atlantic slave trade. Although interracial marriage was prohibited in European colonies throughout the Atlantic world, in Gold Coast slave-trading towns it became a recognized and respected custom. Cassare, or "keeping house," gave European men the support of African women and their kin, which was essential for their survival and success, while African families made alliances with European traders and secured the legitimacy of their offspring by making the unions official. For many years, Euro-African families lived in close proximity to the violence of the slave trade. Sheltered by their Danish names and connections, they grew wealthy and influential. But their powerful position on the Gold Coast did not extend to the broader Atlantic world, where the link between blackness and slavery grew stronger, and where Euro-African descent did not guarantee privilege. By the time Severine Brock married Edward Carstensen, their world had changed. Daughters of the Trade uncovers the vital role interracial marriage played in the coastal slave trade, the production of racial difference, and the increasing stratification of the early modern Atlantic world.
