Sin embargo, a pesar de la bondad de la practica fisica no toda va a ser beneficiosa para preservar la salud, ya no solo por las lesiones o problemas especificos que se asocian de forma inherente a ciertas practicas, sino porque casi la mayoria de las actividades de forma aislada no cubren un minimo de exigencias indispensables para preservar los parametros vitales optimos que la mayor tecnificacion y el sedentarismo del hombre "moderno" han puesto en peligro.
