With this manual in hand, the student has the basic tools in hand necessary for understanding Hebrew syntax and doing serious exegesis in the Hebrew Bible. The author holds a PhD in Hebrew studies from the Univ of Texas at Austin and has taught Hebrew language and exegetical courses for nearly forty years. He is also the author of the in-depth commentary on the Book of Daniel for the Evangelical Exegetical Commentary series.
