On the one side we hear of French reconnaissances, in which the enemy have been routed with great loss, with only a trifling casualty on the part of the invaders; while from the other camp we hear that again and again the attacking party has been repulsed with heavy losses, the injury suffered by the Malagasy being insignificant.
