I just want to serve as a vessel for my readers so they know no matter how hard things may be there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel no matter how far away it may seem. A wise poet once told me “Poetry is beautiful. It has no beginning or end. It is abstract and serves as intellectual documentation for raw emotions.” I agree with this 100% because poetry is not just therapeutic, it is an art form that does not discriminate by race, religion, size or geographic location. Thanks to poetry I have found ways to creatively stimulate my mind by channeling “raw emotions” to paper and also feeding information to my brain by studying those poets whom I have the pleasure to work with and those greats that have come before me.
