Descendants of William Thomas Lester (1802-1859), born in Kentucky, and married Margaret E. Talkington (1812-1900), also born in Kentucky, in abt. 1830. They had twelve children. Couple lived in Hempstead, Washington and Crawford Counties, Arkansas. Margaret moved to Cali- fornia in the late 1880's with her brother, Allen A. Talkington and other family members. Includes descendants of William Neal (b. abt. 1775) and Lucy [Straughan?] Neal (b. abt. 1777). Their descendants live in North Carolina, Arkansas, Tennessee and elsewhere.
