L'exercice individuel de la chirurgie dentaire est le mode d'exercice le plus répandu. Cependant, il ne cesse de reculer face à l'exercice en groupe. Comme pour tout type d'installation, la création d'un cabinet de groupe nécessite la mise en place d'une structure juridique adaptée à l'activité professionnelle souhaitée. Traditionnellement seules les sociétés de personnes (sociétés créées de fait, exercice à frais communs, sociétés civiles de moyens, sociétés civiles professionnelles) étaient accessibles. Aujourd'hui, les professions libérales ont également une porte ouverte vers les sociétés de capitaux (sociétés d'exercice libérales, sociétés en participation). Chacune de ces sociétés présente ses avantages et ses inconvénients dans son statut son mode de gestion, son régime fiscal et dans ses possibilités d'évolution. L'objectif de cette thèse est de donner aux chirurgiens dentistes des informations nécessaires pour les guider dans leur choix.
