En la actualidad la gestión académica del docente en la educación superior demanda la aplicación de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación por los cambios generados en la sociedad a causa de la transformación digital en el mundo y la pandemia del COVID 19. Esta situación implica que los docentes de universidades públicas y privadas implicados en los procesos académicos universitarios, implementen las herramientas virtuales que ofrecen las TIC en los procesos educativos, por los múltiples beneficios que ofrecen a la formación académica de los estudiantes.
