Les troubles syntaxiques sont fréquents chez les enfants présentant un Trouble Développemental du Langage oral (TDL). Il est recommandé aux orthophonistes d'appliquer dans leur pratique clinique des thérapies basées sur des données probantes. A ce jour, peu d'études ont été menées pour évaluer l'efficacité de traitements visant les troubles syntaxiques et s'appuyant sur des preuves scientifiques, ce que permet l'approche Evidence-Based Practice (EBP). But : Cette étude s'emploie à déterminer l'efficacité, la généralisation et la spécificité d'un traitement orthophonique visant les troubles syntaxiques chez l'enfant avec TDL selon une approche EBP. Matériel/Méthode : Quatre études de cas uniques sont réalisées pour objectiver une amélioration des performances grâce à l'élaboration et la passation de lignes de base. Résultats : Nous observons une amélioration des performances avec un effet d'apprentissage et une spécificité du traitement significatifs chez tous les enfants. Un effet de généralisation est observé chez trois d'entre eux. Conclusion : Il semble intéressant d'appliquer l'EBP à la prise en charge orthophonique des troubles syntaxiques chez l'enfant TDL ainsi que d'encourager son utilisation auprès des orthophonistes.

L'evidence-Based Practice (EBP) est une approche qui puise ses racines dans l' EvidenceBased Medicine (EBM) et qui trouve progressivement sa place en orthophonie. Le principe de l'EBP est d' optimiser la prise en charge orthophonique en associant les meilleures données issues de la recherche à l'expertise clinique du praticien et aux valeurs et préférences du patient. La rigueur méthodologique de cette approche pyrmet de guider les cliniciens dans le choix des outils d'évaluation et de rééducation, mais également dans l'évaluation de l'efficacité du traitement proposé (Maillart & Durieux, 2014). Parallèlement, alors que l' acquisition de la syntaxe est fréquemment perturbée chez les enfants présentant un trouble développemental du langage, on trouve encore peu d'études démontrant l'efficacité des traitements des troubles syntaxiques (Schelstraete et al, 2011). Notre étude porte donc sur l'intérêt de l'utilisation de l'EBP dans le cadre de la rééducation syntaxique auprès d'enfants d'âge scolaire. Pour cela, nous avons construit des lignes de base (pré-tests), comportant toutes des items contrôles, pour évaluer les performances de chaque enfant sur une variable syntaxique déficitaire. Puis nous avons proposé un traitement adapté à chacun en nous appuyant sur la littérature et les préférences des enfants. Grâce à l'EBP, nous sommes en mesure de déterminer que le traitement s'est révélé efficace, grâce à l'évaluation en post-test des mêmes items. Puisque les structures cibles sont mieux maîtrisées, et non les items contrôles, nous pouvons conclure que cette progression peut bel et bien être attribuée au traitement orthophonique, et non à des facteurs externes comme la maturation de l'enfant.

This volume offers a selection of papers presented during the 14th International Conference on the History of the Language Sciences (ICHoLS XIV, Paris, 2017). Part I brings together studies dealing with descriptive concepts. First examined is the notion of “accidens” in Latin grammar and its Greek counterparts. Other papers address questions with a strong echo in today’s linguistics: localism and its revival in recent semantics and syntax, the origin of the term “polysemy” and its adoption through Bréal, and the difficulties attending the description of prefabs, idioms and other “fixed expressions”. This first part also includes studies dealing with representations of linguistic phenomena, whether these concern the treatment of local varieties (so-called patois) in French research, or the import and epistemological function of spatial representations in descriptions of linguistic time.
