Le français et le chinois présentent des structures très différentes l'une de l'autre : sur le plan formel, le français est une langue à flexion, alors que le chinois est une langue dans laquelle la forme des mots ne varie pas, c'est-à-dire qui ne connaît pas la flexion. Cette différence fondamentale affecte toutes les classes, notamment celle du verbe. Au niveau des monèmes, la façon d'exprimer le temps et l'aspect est également différente. Ceci explique la grande difficulté que rencontrent les étudiants chinois qui apprennent le français, et réciproquement. Ainsi, ce travail constitue une étude de longue haleine sur l'enseignement du système verbal français aux apprenants chinois, l'un des problèmes les plus épineux du français langue étrangère en Chine. En d'autres termes, notre intérêt portera essentiellement sur le problème des temps du passé auxquels ces apprenants se heurtent. Nous pouvons donc les considérer comme problèmes majeurs dans cet enseignement/apprentissage. En nous appuyant sur l'analyse d'erreurs de temps dans la production écrite chez les étudiants chinois, nous avons cherché à décrire des facteurs qui sont en rapport soit direct, soit indirect avec les erreurs commises, en vue de formuler quelques propositions didactiques susceptibles d'apporter une certaine amélioration à l'enseignement et à l'apprentissage des temps du passé en Chine.

This study aims to investigate politeness in women’s and men’s speech, with a particular focus on the use of c’est-à-dire, enfin, hein and quoi in contemporary spoken French. Politeness is defined as going beyond the notion of the face-threatening act, englobing both everyday ideas of politeness and the creation of sociability in face-to-face interaction. The pragmatic particles studied are demonstrated to serve both psycholinguistic and sociolinguistic purposes: they lubricate reformulation and contribute to both sociability and social indexation. The study, which combines qualitative and quantitative analysis, is based on a corpus of spontaneous spoken French, comprising 155,000 words, 95 interviews and subjects ranging in age from 7 to 88 years. The sample contains speakers from a broader range of educational backgrounds than is often the case: a butcher, a video-salesman and a toiletteur canin rub shoulders with counter assistants, teachers and doctors.
