También es el editor de la versión poética de Juan de Arjona de la "Tebaida" de Estacio. Su primer libro, publicado en 2012 por la editorial Dykinson: "Historia del alfabeto y de las letras del abecedario romano", hace un repaso a los azarosos devenires del alfabeto desde sus ancestros fenicios, griegos, etruscos y romanos hasta nuestros días. Finalmente se analiza cada letra del abecedario romano, explicando su origen, su denominación y el motivo de su apariencia gráfica, al tiempo que se ofrecen curiosas anécdotas referentes a ellas.
