Para ello, analiza los resultados de una investigación llevada a cabo mediante un cuestionario enviado a todos los entrenadores de iniciación al baloncesto en las escuelas deportivas municipales de las ocho provincias de Andalucía. Los datos obtenidos en los cuestionarios, una vez contrastados con los coordinadores de las escuelas, sirvieron para diseñar un seminario de formación inicial con el objetivo de solventar las inquietudes manifestadas por los entrenadores.

La formación de los entrenadores de baloncesto ha experimentado una evolución constante en los últimos años debido a diversas causas, entre las que hay que destacar el cambio legislativo impuesto por la ley del deporte.
