Contexte : La fatigue liée au cancer est l'un des symptômes les plus communs ressenti chez les adolescents et jeunes adultes (AJA) durant leur traitement. Elle peut avoir des effets néfastes sur leur développement biopsychosocial et diminuer leur qualité de vie. Objectif : L'objectif de cette revue est de mesurer la fatigue et d'identifier les facteurs qui peuvent influencer cette fatigue lors des traitements chez les AJA. Méthode : Critères d'inclusion : 12 à 35 ans ; tous types de cancer et de traitement ; articles en français ou anglais ; provenant de pays industrialisés ; traitant du symptôme de la fatigue. Stratégies de recherche : Deux bases de données ont été consultées : CINHAL et PUBMED / MEDLINE. 93 articles ont été répertoriés dans la recherche documentaire de 2005 à 2018. Six d'entre eux ont été retenus pour la revue de littérature. Synthèse des données : Les articles sélectionnés ont été analysés à l'aide de la grille de Fortin. Ils ont fait ressortir les facteurs influençant la fatigue. Résultats : La fatigue impacte négativement les domaines physiques, psychologiques et les relations sociales des AJA. Elle peut interrompre ou retarder le franchissement de certaines étapes développementales et ajouter des difficultés dans la vie quotidienne. Discussion : Une meilleure connaissance de la fatigue ainsi que des besoins spécifiques des AJA est importante pour améliorer la prise en charge du symptôme de la fatigue, souvent sous-estimée par les soignants. Les interventions seront d'évaluer l'intensité de la fatigue, variable selon les individus, les modalités des traitements, et tout au long du cycle de chimiothérapie, et de proposer différentes stratégies notamment comportementales pour diminuer la fatigue et améliorer la qualité de vie.
