Senala que dicha facultad expone Programas de Educacion Permanente en Odontologia, utilizando metodos y medios de ensenanza-aprendizaje que propicien una estrecha vinculacion entre la teoria y la practica basados en acciones concretas sobre la realidad y la integracion de la docencia y los servicios con la investigacion, que han permitido el fortalecimiento y desarrollo del recurso humano y de los Planes y Programas Nacionales de Salud Bucal en nuestro pais, para una atencion eficiente y eficaz de la poblacion panamena. Senala como la Facultad de Odontologia ha organizado en los ultimos 5 anos, mas de 18 actividades de Perfeccionamiento y Extension dirigidas a Docentes, Profesionales de la Odontologia y a la comunidad. Since its inception, anthropology's authority has been based on the assumption that it is a unified discipline emanating from the West. In an age of heightened globalization, anthropologists have failed to discuss consistently the current status of their practice and its mutations across the globe. World Anthropologies is the first book to provoke this conversation from various regions of the world in order to assess the diversity of relations between regional or national anthropologies and a contested, power-laden Western discourse.
