On ne peut pas toujours lire les récits de Mandalia, de Sydney Cohen ou d’Olievenstein. On ne peut pas non plus crever le dernier œil des borgnes et les pousser sur un champ de mines. Voilà pourquoi on doit lire le livre d’Hal Armstrong avec son style, ses dialogues avec la société par paumés interposés. Pour moi qui reste très orthodoxe, son classement personnel des drogues et de leurs actions est très valable, et son lexique pour toxicos avertis est le plus complet que je connaisse. Ses descriptions sont plus précises et intéressantes que beaucoup d’autres faites par des scientifiques.
