Introduction : récemment, les médecins généralistes sont autorisés à délivrer les certificats pour les plongeurs de niveau 2 et plus alors que le cursus universitaire ne prévoit de formation spécifique. L'objectif principal tente de relater les pratiques médicales pour la délivrance du certificat de non contre-indication à la plongée (CNCI), sur la base déclarative des plongeurs licenciés. L'objectif secondaire décrit le niveau de formation des médecins et l'utilisation de documents supports lors de la consultation de non contre-indication à la plongée. Matériel et méthode : un questionnaire papier anonyme a été distribué à des plongeurs licenciés sur leur lieu de loisir. Des questions portaient sur les données socio-démographiques des plongeurs puis sur certains paramètres de la consultation en vue de recevoir le certificat médical. Des médecins généralistes et fédéraux ont été questionnés sur leur niveau de formation lié à la plongée et l'utilisation de documents supports. Résultats : 113 plongeurs ont été inclus dans l'analyse de la première étude. 65,5% des certificats ont été rédigé par leur médecin traitant, 8,8% par un médecin généraliste autre, 15% par un médecin fédéral. Dans 74,3% des cas, ni l'auto-questionnaire ni la fiche d'examen clinique n'ont été utilisées. 29,2 % des consultations ont durée moins de 15 minutes. 20 médecins ont été inclus dans l'analyse de la seconde étude. Seuls les médecins fédéraux réalisaient une formation continue en lien avec la plongée. 9 médecins n'utilisaient ni auto-questionnaire, ni fiche d'examen clinique. 3 médecins n'ont jamais refusé de délivrer un certificat de plongée. Discussion : une grande majorité des certificats ont été rédigés par des médecins généralistes. Cependant, l'offre concernant la formation continue dans le domaine est limitée et ne correspond pas aux besoins actuels. L'utilisation de l'auto-questionnaire et de la fiche d'examen pourrait devenir systématique. Les clubs et la fédération pourrait avoir un rôle à jouer en diffusant ces documents. Ils serviraient les deux parties autant sur le plan médical que juridique. La piste d'un livret médical que le plongeur présenterait à chaque consultation en lien avec la plongée mériterait d'être concrétisée. Conclusion : les accidents de plongée peuvent être dramatiques. L'évolution de la législation concernant les CNCI imposent de repenser la formation des médecins généralistes à cette consultation spécifique.

Introduction : Le décret n°2016-1157 du 24 Août 2016 du Code du Sport autorise dorénavant la délivrance d'un certificat médical de non-contre-indication à la pratique sportive valable 03 ans. La plongée sous-marine loisir en scaphandre autonome n'est pas concernée par ce décret étant donné qu'elle est considérée comme un sport à risques. La visite de non-contre-indication annuelle est obligatoire. L'objectif de cette étude est d'évaluer la perception qu'ont les plongeurs, encadrants et médecins vis-àvis de la nécessité de cette visite médicale. Méthode : Une étude observationnelle transversale quantitative et semi qualitative à été réalisée. Des questionnaires ont été diffusés au sein de chaque club de plongée français par le biais d'un groupe de conversation. Les médecins ont été sollicité par le biais d'une présentation orale lors d'une assemblée générale régionale de la commission médicale et de prévention. Les analyses statistiques ont été réalisées avec la participation de l'unité d'aide statistique du CHU de Lille. Résultats : 1470 questionnaires ont été recueillis. 603 questionnaires de plongeurs non encadrants, 826 questionnaires de plongeurs encadrants et 41 questionnaires de médecins. Les critères de sexe, d'âge, d'IMC suivent une loi normale. 77,06% des plongeurs non encadrants et 74,85% des plongeurs encadrants pensent que la visite de non-contre-indication est nécessaire.
