L'ouvrage explore la communication pédagogique à l'université, dans le contexte de cours magistraux de première année, en chimie. Une première analyse basée sur la confrontation entre le message du professeur et la prise de notes des étudiants (considérée comme témoin de la qualité de la communication) met en évidence des liens étroits entre les caractéristiques du message et la qualité des notes. Ensuite, les actions pédagogiques ainsi que les acquis des étudiants au terme du cours magistral sont analysés en en utilisant une difficulté transversale de la chimie comme fil conducteur. Il s'agit des passages omniprésents dans le discours de l'enseignant entre les niveaux macroscopique, microscopique et symbolique. Cet ouvrage s'adresse aux enseignants de chimie mais aussi à ceux qui utilisent graphiques, symbolisme, tableaux... dans leur enseignement ainsi qu'aux accompagnateurs méthodologiques. Il propose des actions concrètes pour améliorer la communication pédagogique d'un exposé, une description détaillée du modèle des trois niveaux de savoir en chimie, des enjeux pour la didactique de la chimie et des activités à réaliser avec des étudiants pour améliorer leur prise de notes.

This book aims to reflect the contours of the notion of aid as it is questioned by current scientific research.
