So I did. You can use either a double strand of worsted weight yarn OR one strand of super bulky yarn to make them. And you can make them from a woman’s size 6 to a man’s size 14. The pattern is knitted on 2 (two) sets of single pointed needles, but don’t worry. I’ve provided a bunch of photos to show you how to do this. It sounds more complicated than it really is. The pattern itself only involves the knit and purl stitch, k2tog and picking up stitches. Easy peasy! For real. Make a pair of adult moccasin style bootie slippers with this knitting pattern. I’ve jazzed up these slippers by adding some striped chevron/eyelet detailing to the top of the toe. I also made the cuff a little longer to fit even more like a bootie. The final product is very gender neutral. Knit on 2 sets of size 4 mm (US size 6) knitting needles with worsted weight yarn, this knitting pattern has instructions for slippers for ADULTS from a size 5 - 14. I’ve also created a quick how-to video showing how to make the heel. I use this for a number of my slipper patterns, so you may find it helpful. A search for the title will bring it up for you. Includes FREE Knitting Patterns This isn’t a pattern for beginners, but if you know how to knit a stitch, pick up stitches, knit two stitches together, yarn over and pass a slipped stitch over, you should be okay.
