How to Kill the Giant in Your Life

Book Description
I was led to write, "How to Kill The Giant In Your Life," because God know that our life is like that of David, facing the giant, (the enemy in our daily walk. We are heirs in the Kingdom of God, because we are His children. God has given us authority, but we refuse to use it, yet we pray for things or situations that God has given us the authority to handle or change ourselves. We live by faith and not by sight. If we have the faith to believe and move our faith out of "Neutral" and put it in "Drive," we can have the same victory God gave David. In Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue which rises against you in judgement, "you shall condemn." Did God say he will condemn or you shall condemn. Matthew 18:17, "Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." Did God say, He will bind or loose or did He say whatever you bind or you loose? I think being a Teacher is one of the greatest gifts of all. In order to understand God, we first must know who God is and in order to know who God is, we first must take the time to study the Word. The Book of Genesis teaches about God's Royalty Family, His Creation & His Kindgom. We pray a simple prayer, because God deals with the heart and God still hear our prayers. We can pray with a sincere heart and cry out to God and He still rescues us and answers us. Jeremiah 33:3, "Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." As we grow spiritually, our prayer life changes the same way as we mature in our walk with Christ. We drank milk as babes and when the times comes, we are no longer drinking milk, but we began to eat meat. This is the same process for our spiritual growth, because we are no longer babes in Christ. When we become mature Christians, we began to pray scriptural prayers, which are more effective, but we have to abide in the Word of God. Sometimes we have to wait on our prayers to be answered, because God is a timely God. He is eternal and our time is not His time. Sometimes God moves swiftly and He hears the cry of the righteous. James 5:16, "The effectual prayer of a righteous man availeth much." I remembered when I first come to Christ, I did not understand some of the Biblical terminology of the Word, or it's meaning, and I knew there was a lot to learn. Yet, in my learning there were times I became frustrated, because I did not understand the Bible. The course, English during my adolescent years in school seem to be the hardest Language to learn, because of conjunctions, pronouns, verbs, adverbs and adjectives and when I stated reading the Bible, I thought, "Oh my God, how do you pronounce the names and what do these parables mean?" I found out that if you ask God for understanding of His Word, He will give you understanding, because it is His will for us to know the will of God and not to walk in ignorance of His Word. This book is about learning how to fight the enemy, how to use God's weapon and knowing the weapons of God. It is also about learning as you grow spiritually. 2 Corinthians 10:4, "For the weapons (God's Word) of our warfare (war against the enemy -satan) are not carnal (worldly or earthly), but mightly through the pulling down of strongholds (strong defensive structure of protection). We are fighting against things that cannot be seen by the naked or natural eyes. Have you ever seen someone who, "Out of the blues" (happened suddenly), attack you mentally or physically and there was actually, no logical reason for this strange behavior? Well, it was not the person in the natural that attacked you, but the enemy that used this person. Read 2 Corinthians 10:4 again to find out who the enemy is. This is what needs to be taught in churches so that Christians can become Prayer Warriors. I pray that this book will inspire those who are seeking God to learn and know th

Book Description
Max Roper, durable investigator, is sapped, doped and imprisoned on a boat apparently used by a mysterious Oriental for business purposes. The point of this caper is to have Max carry a warning to basketball superstar Jo-Jo Gonzaga that he must throw the championship play-off. When Gonzaga is shot and killed in his own fabulous and eccentrically designed home after his team wins the second game of the series, Roper decides to find the hoods who had abducted him. Max discovers that a lot of people wanted Gonzaga dead and that there is more to this murder than the gangland routine of forcing a team win at any cost. For example: Jules Belmont, miserly millionaire who likes to bet and bet big. He also hates to lose—a bet or a dame. Sandy Shaw, a bright and sexy whiz kid who can beat the computer in her specialty of voice prints. Larry LaSalle, her boss, resident expert at UCLA, the man who had designed the computer which can identify any person from his speech patterns. Barbara Belmont, niece of Jules. A hippie girl who lives at sea and tries to keep Roper the same. Frankie Wu, a shadowy Oriental who may be part of an international heroin-smuggling ring. Then there are the other characters Roper knows only as The Rube, Gorilla and Wolfman. He trails this trio to Mexico, where more violence erupts. Then the trail leads back to a beautiful blonde singer in the Gaslight Club in Los Angeles, where there is more violence. There is Tom Power, the ex-basketballer, a man who remembers the favors Gonzaga had done for him. Not to be forgotten among this provocatively mixed cast, are the Great Danes who owned by Gonzaga. Roper has a feeling they will be in a the final kill and only hopes he can beat them to it when he brings down Gonzaga’s murderer.

NATIONAL BESTSELLER • From the winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature and author of Never Let Me Go and the Booker Prize–winning novel The Remains of the Day comes a luminous meditation on the act of forgetting and the power of memory. In post-Arthurian Britain, the wars that once raged between the Saxons and the Britons have finally ceased. Axl and Beatrice, an elderly British couple, set off to visit their son, whom they haven't seen in years. And, because a strange mist has caused mass amnesia throughout the land, they can scarcely remember anything about him. As they are joined on their journey by a Saxon warrior, his orphan charge, and an illustrious knight, Axl and Beatrice slowly begin to remember the dark and troubled past they all share. By turns savage, suspenseful, and intensely moving, The Buried Giant is a luminous meditation on the act of forgetting and the power of memory.

Book Description
Killing Giants unveils practical strategies for overtaking larger competitors in any market, looking at companies like that started out small but quickly dominated by using their opponents' size to their advantage. Stephen Denny shows how even behemoths like Nike and Coca Cola are susceptible to small, even tiny, competitors, because of their size. Book Description
A girl’s imagination transports polio-afflicted kids into a fantastic world. The spring of 1955 tests Laurie Valentine’s gifts as a storyteller. After her friend Dickie contracts polio and finds himself confined to an iron lung, Laurie visits him in the hospital. There she meets Carolyn and Chip, two other kids trapped inside the breathing machines. Laurie’s first impulse is to flee, but Dickie begs her to tell them a story. And so Laurie begins her tale of Collosso, a rampaging giant, and Jimmy, a tiny boy whose destiny is to become a slayer of giants. As Laurie embellishes her tale with gnomes, unicorns, gryphons, and other fanciful creatures, Dickie comes to believe that he is a character in her story. Little by little Carolyn, Chip, and other kids who come to listen, recognize counterparts as well. Laurie’s tale is so powerful that when she’s prevented from continuing it, Dickie, Carolyn, and Chip take turns as narrators. Each helps bring the story of Collosso and Jimmy to an end—changing the lives of those in the polio ward in startling ways.
