Part Two describes how five generations of the Pollock family have enjoyed the Parks. We call this book Kentucky's Special Green Spaces. We love going to the Kentucky State Parks to feel at home in different locations and settings. Whether on vacation, family reunions, camping, or on day trips, time at the Parks allows us to experience many things we value about our permanent homes. The staff at the Parks do a great job of making it possible to feel safe, enjoy good food, relax at the pool, build memories through different activities, and appreciate the natural beauty of our state. Five generations of our family have enjoyed our State's greatest treasure, its State Parks. Our book focuses on the experience of the three most recent generations, Steve's parents (Richard and Sue Pollock) and their kids (Steve and Anne), Steve's family (wife Betsy and our five daughters), and our daughter's families.
