For his services he had the honor of being created a knight of the military order of the Bath, and a Peer of the realm. He was subsequently employed on a mission to the tout of St. Petersburg. Ou Monday the 18th of May, 1801, the following resolutions were moved by Lord H obart, in the House of Lords, and by the Chancellor of the Exchequer in the House of Commons.
