Actuellement, nombreuses sont les personnes possédant plusieurs diplômes, pouvant même exercer leurs différentes professions simultanément. Par exemple, certains ergothérapeutes possèdent également un diplôme d'enseignant en activité physique adaptée. L'identité professionnelle, beaucoup étudiée en sociologie, n'est alors pas si simple à définir. Dans quelles mesures l'association d'une identité professionnelle d'ergothérapeute et celle d'enseignant en APA&S peut-elle enrichir l'intervention de l'ergothérapeute ? Déterminer si les connaissances et les compétences d'un enseignant en APA&S participent à un enrichissement des différentes approches ou techniques d'intervention en ergothérapie. Cette association d'identité professionnelle pourrait enrichir les moyens d'intervention sur l'activité physique en ergothérapie. Grâce à une connaissance mutuelle des deux disciplines, cette association offrirait les avantages de l'interdisciplinarité, au service des besoins des patients. La recherche se porte sur des ergothérapeutes ayant également un diplôme universitaire d'enseignant en activités physiques adaptées. Les ergothérapeutes sont interrogés par l'intermédiaire d'entretiens semi-directifs, portant sur leur identité Quatre ergothérapeutes ont été interrogés pour cette étude. L'intégration de l'activité physique est partielle dans leurs interventions. Elle permet tout de même de varier les moyens de l'intervention, avec des médias sportifs. Il apparait difficile de parler d'interdisciplinarité dans ce contexte d'association d'identités professionnelles. Cette double formation permet un enrichissement des moyens d'interventions. Elle permet également aux ergothérapeutes une facilité dans la prise en charge groupale. Leur approche plus élargie les amène également à s'inscrire plus facilement dans une démarche interdisciplinaire.
