Résumé. Introduction : Les inégalités sociales de santé sont assez connues y compris dans le domaine des usages de produits psychoactives mais celles liées au genre a été moins explorée. Or s'il existe des différences importantes entre milieux sociaux, les écarts sont aussi marqués entre les sexes. Ce travail explore les différences d'inégalités de genre sur les consommations des produits Psychoactives des garçons et des filles de 17 ans, à travers les données d'ES CAP AD relatives au genre entre 2000 et 2014. Méthode et Matériels: ESCAPAD, Une enquête nationale représentative des jeunes de 17 ans de nationalité française menée régulièrement entre 2000 et 20 14 permet de mesurer les évolutions des usages des principaux produits psychoactives suivant le sexe, et de mettre en évidence leurs déterminants sociaux. Résultats: L'expérimentation des filles se rapproche de celui des garçons, l'écart entre garçons/filles se constate dans la fréquence de la consommation. Les différences de genre varient selon les produits. Le milieu social d'appartenance des jeunes, le parcours scolaire et la situation scolaire caractérisent la consommation des produits psychoactives des adolescents. L'influence de genre est peu précise. Discussion-conclusion: La consommation des produits psychoactives est un comportement masculin. L'expérin1entation des jeunes des milieux favorisés est fréquente mais non problématique comparé aux jeunes des milieux populaire. Le souci de la réussite de leurs études est l'impact qui empêche une consommation intense. La différenciation sociale entre garçons et filles qui existent de façon nette au-delà de 18 ans n'est pas encore tout à fait visible à l'adolescence. D'autres études sont nécessaires pour comprendre le phénomène de genre dans la pratique des produits psychoactifs des adolescents.
