Index to Reviews, Symposia Volumes and Monographs in Organic Chemistry presents the development in organic chemistry for the period 1963—1964. This book covers works in English, German, and French languages, including also English translations of Russian studies. Organized into three parts encompassing 136 chapters, this book starts with a collection of review articles concerning the advances in analytical chemistry and instrumentation. This text then presents the annual collection of review articles on advances in chemical physics, chemotherapy, clinical chemistry, drug research, and fluorine chemistry. Other chapters deal with advances in food research, heterocyclic chemistry, spectroscopy, organic reactions, and tracer methodology. This book presents as well a collection of review articles on pharmaceutical sciences, polymer science, medicinal chemistry, pharmacy, and pharmacology. The final chapter presents a list of monographs concerning chemical engineering, applications of neutron diffraction in chemistry, and mechanochemistry of polymers. This book is a valuable resource for organic chemists, students, and scientists.

Organic Chemist's Desk Reference

Organic Chemist's Desk Reference PDF Author: Caroline Cooper
Publisher: CRC Press
ISBN: 1498734022
Category : Medical
Languages : en
Pages : 296

Book Description
Launched in 1995 as a companion to the Dictionary of Organic Compounds, the Organic Chemist’s Desk Reference has been essential reading for laboratory chemists who need a succinct guide to the ‘nuts and bolts’ of organic chemistry — the literature, nomenclature, stereochemistry, spectroscopy, hazard information, and laboratory data. This third edition reflects changes in the dissemination of chemical information, revisions to chemical nomenclature, and the adoption of new techniques in NMR spectroscopy, which have taken place since publication of the last edition in 2011. Organic chemistry embraces many other disciplines — from material sciences to molecular biology — whose practitioners will benefit from the comprehensive but concise information brought together in this book. Extensively revised and updated, this new edition contains the very latest data that chemists need access to for experimentation and research.

Index of Crystallographic Supplies

Index of Crystallographic Supplies PDF Author: Reuben Rudman
Publisher: Springer Science & Business Media
ISBN: 1461346010
Category : Science
Languages : en
Pages : 109

Book Description
This is the third edition of the Index of Crystallographic Supplies prepared on behalf of the International Union of Crystallography by its Commission on Crystallographic Apparatus. The first was compiled by Professor A. Guinier in 1956 and the second under the editorship of Dr. A. J. Rose in 1959. At that time, it was intended that publication of revised editions of the Index should be a continuing project of succeeding Commissions. However, with changing membership and other pressing activities, the preparation of the third edition has been dependent on the acquisition of a Commission member with appropriate experience and enthusiasm. The Commission is therefore fortunate that Professor R. Rudman, who has had considerable experience in the collation of information on crystallographic matters, has undertaken this task. He has been assisted by the advice of the members of the 1969-72 Commission, in particular that of a group which, during a meeting in Marseille, France, July 4-6, 1971 to discuss Commission affairs, went over the draft of the Index in close detail. These included S. C. Abrahams, U. W. Arndt and D. M. Kheiker. The information included in the Index was gathered from replies to a questionnaire which was sent to a wide range of manufacturers and suppliers throughout the world. It is not intended as complete and exhaustive but it should provide a convenient starting point for the location of the appropriate sources of equipment and materials of use to crystallographers.
