Malgré les efforts et les moyens déployés par les campagnes de prévention bucco-dentaire, le chirurgien dentiste se trouve parfois face une molaire permanente tellement délabrée, qu’il se doit de l’extraire. L’extraction de celle «sacrée dent» a été longtemps controversée. L’objectif de ce travail sera d’analyser les indications d’extraction des premières molaires permanentes et d’étudier les répercussions d’un tel acte, ceci à l’aide d’une étude rétrospective.
