Haunt, torture, distress, and hell, are merely words to describe this true story. The manipulation of a real woman scorned by fear and deceit, by a man who had nothing better to do, but to destroy an innocent soul. A soul that now lives in oblivion and forgets what life, love, and happiness is all about. Theres a dark side of life that helps me see the light. Goals the have come and gone, with so much fight. Stars that I have reached, that are brighter then the sun. Places I have seen, that my dreams could only have dreamed. Experiences that I have lived that made me hate and cry. Time that stood still, while I gazed at the window sill. Start to look at the exterior, take valor in justice. Be a coward at hurting, but take strength in loving. And if you feel weak in hate, cover your soul with morals and nude the contaminations of your thoughts and body. Dont fear in opening your door! Because this universe was created for you!

Book Description
A surfer named Jonathan Lightfoot, who is accustomed to charming his way through life, is suddenly attacked by a Great White off the coast of Pleasure Bay, a small resort town that accommodates a large number of vacationers. Jonathan is the new guy in this holiday town, and he wants revenge on the shark that assailed him. In order to settle the score and support some of his other more hidden agendas, Jonathan needs a boat. He uses his skills as a con artist to invite people aboard his vessel, expose them to the Great White, and involve them in financing his shark-hunting project. His innocent victims do not realize that he also uses the same boat to further his drug-dealing efforts. When the shark realizes that humans are after her and want to kill her, her survival instincts force her to fight back. Author Will J. Abrie uses a shark as a metaphor for corporate greed. The Palgrave Handbook of Popular Culture as Philosophy

The Palgrave Handbook of Popular Culture as Philosophy PDF Author: Dean A. Kowalski
Publisher: Springer Nature
ISBN: 3031246853
Category : Philosophy
Languages : en
Pages : 2127

Book Description
Much philosophical work on pop culture apologises for its use; using popular culture is a necessary evil, something merely useful for reaching the masses with important philosophical arguments. But works of pop culture are important in their own right--they shape worldviews, inspire ideas, change minds. We wouldn't baulk at a book dedicated to examining the philosophy of The Great Gatsby or 1984--why aren't Star Trek and Superman fair game as well? After all, when produced, the former were considered pop culture just as much as the latter. This will be the first major reference work to right that wrong, gathering together entries on film, television, games, graphic novels and comedy, and officially recognizing the importance of the field. It will be the go-to resource for students and researchers in philosophy, culture, media and communications, English and history and will act as a springboard to introduce the reader to the other key literature in the field.

Life and Survival as a Destitute: My Own True Story

Life and Survival as a Destitute: My Own True Story PDF Author: Sarah Harper
Publisher: AuthorHouse
ISBN: 1456789465
Category : Fiction
Languages : en
Pages : 209

Book Description
My book is about my life from childhood to now. It looks at the difficulties and traumatic experiences i went through in my childhood - sexual and physical abuse, and not being protected by those who were supposed to look after me and love me. I try to give comfort to those who may have been in a similar situation to mine.I'm writing this book, telling the whole world of my suffering and pain i experienced as a child - sexual abuse, physical abuse, pain that i have locked up inside for years. Revisiting my past whilst writing this book has been extremely painful and has filled me with tears in some chapters. It has always been my desire to tell my story so that people know that despite all the pain i experienced and although i may still be damaged psychologically, i managed to overcome this and have a balanced life. As a child, i had no one to tell about my suffering. I was that child that no one wanted to know or to speak to.There may be people out there who are suffering in silence like i did and may be scared to talk to someone. I hope that this book will inspire and counsel them and encourage them to do something about it. I hope that my book will help those affected to move on with their lives like i did.
