La presente investigacion se incluye dentro de los esfuerzos por perfeccionar y sistematizar los metodos y tecnicas para el diagnostico, y la potenciacion de la educacion ambiental en los jovenes, a partir de la estimulacion de procesos psicologicos de singular relevancia en la relacion hombre - medio ambiente, tales como los cognitivos, afectivos, perceptivos, actitudinales y ccomportamentales. En ella, partiendo de un diagnostico previo que abarco los procesos antes mencionados, se diseno e implemento una propuesta de talleres de trabajo grupal, que se apoyo en los beneficios del grupo como potenciador de procesos cognitivos y afectivo - vivenciales, dirigida hacia la estimulacion de la educacion ambiental de los estudiantes. Esta propuesta se fundamento en ciertos preceptos teorico - metodologicos, tales como enfoque sistemico y el consiguiente el tratamiento del medio ambiente como un todo interrelacionado; la facilitacion de la comprension de la esencia de los procesos; la estimulacion de un acercamiento critico integral a la realidad y la proporcion de herramientas intelectuales y emotivas para la accion consciente a favor del medio ambiente."
